The Coleman Red Canyon Modified Dome Tent itself is huge. I measured the foot print to see if it was 10x17 ft. The inside of the tent is very roomy and attractive, with some gold accents on the white areas of the tent. Family camping tent can accommodate eight campers, included room dividers allow you to create three separate rooms. Designed to keep you dry and comfortable regardless of the conditions, Coleman's exclusive Weathertec System is guaranteed to keep you dry and offers leak-free protected seams, weather-resistant fabric, waterproof floors, zipper protection, and a wind-strong frame. The Red Canyon also features Coleman's Variflow system and Cool-Air port, which also provides outside access to your gear.

Coleman Red Canyon Modified Dome Tent Pros and Cons:
Pros:- Double zippers on door - allows you to run power cord in without large gaps for bugs to get it.
- Tub floor should prevent flooding from below.
- Plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 seven year-olds, air mattresses. If it'd fit through the door, I'd wager you could fit two regular king size mattresses in there.
Cons:
- Little modesty without rainfly. Top of tent is mostly screen.
- Tub floor, makes it necessary to step up to get in/out. Forgetting leads to skinned knees and palms.
It's got plenty of room to settle in and have ample space to get/keep your gear organized, not be bumping into each other with multiple people in it and not go bananas if you have to hunker down in foul weather. All in all, I would highly recommend this tent to any large family either novice or experienced.
