Best Family Camping Tents - I love Eureka tents. Our first tent was a Eureka and we were in love with that little thing. The Eureka Apollo 9 Dome Tent is very large. I was looking at the Eureka Tetragon tent and it had lots of reviews about the zipper. Set it up by myself in less than 10 minutes, It is a great warm weather tent with good cross ventilation. Zipper gets caught some time on the extra material around the flap but so has every other tent i bought. I'm pretty sure I could recommend this to a friend without fear of reprisal.
The Apollo 9 is a 2-pole rectangular dome tent that will provide comfortable shelter 3 seasons out of the year no matter where you go. Weather it’s a trip to the backcountry or to the campground, Eureka’s StormShield technology combines moisture repelling materials with a tough reinforced construction that resists wear and tear. Extra weatherproof design features a bathtub floor that wraps up the sides of the tent, keeping seams high above the ground and water outside. There is plenty of room in this 5-man tent with a 81 sq ft floor area and a 6' center height. Two vents and large areas of mesh in side walls enhance air circulation for added comfort. Two interior storage pockets are attached to keep your essential items handy. Another feature of the Apollo is quick set-up. The frame is made of durable shockcorded fiberglass poles that fit into color coded webbing with ring and pin attachments. Nothing better than a quick and easy set-up.
