Standing Room 100 hanging Tent
Best Family Camping Tents - This tent system is so tall I have to get a step stool to hang my lantern from the inside top. The amount of space inside is amazing. The Standing Room 100 hanging Tent has a durable floor, large windows and two doors.  I was able to put a queen size air mattress, a reclining chair, and a table and still had plenty of room to move around. Inside there's room for chairs, beds, luggage AND you can stand up. I just can't believe how easy it was! I put it up by myself in just under 5 minutes! It took just as long to take it down too, and if you're like me and it rains every time you go camping, there's a real bonus in being under the canopy for take down! We have extra side walls for our canopies and I think this could make late fall/winter camping (extra wind block/insulation) a real possibility as well. All the zippers work fine, no leaks (went camping in small rain storm) overall completely satisfied!

Awesome tent, fast setup/takedown - By 661mortgage
Standing Room 100 hanging Tent Review
I am suing this tent under my coleman 10x10 Swing-wall canopy. Colors match perfect. I can put up the canopy and tent combined going normal speed in 5-6 minutes easily by myself and take down in the same amount of time. It's nice having two doors. I use the backdoor for my portable rest room. I put a sidewall around my Coleman Swing-wall to make this space and it works perfect. I wish the ceiling was a screen with an optional cover. I also wish the wall had an air-conditioning port. It does have a small vent that could be used for portable air-conditioners exhaust though:). I am happywith my purchase and think this tent combo with my coleman canopy is the best thing ever!!!

I'm in love with our new tent, - By William H. Sweet
I was a little hesitant to get this tent in light of some prior reviews. Am I glad I went ahead and anyway! This is THE BEST tent I have ever owned. It literally set up in 5 minutes. The room inside the tent is awesome. I can not even touch the ceiling. I was able to put a queen size air mattress, a reclining chair, and a table and still had plenty of room to move around. As far as the previous reviews go, they have obviously addressed all the problems with the zippers and so on because I have 0 complaints! All the zippers work fine, no leaks (went camping in small rain storm) overall completely satisfied!

Wenzel Great Basin 18 X 10-Feet Nine-Person Two-Room Family Dome Tent (Light Grey/Blue/Taupe)

Wenzel Great Basin 18 X 10-Feet Nine-Person

Best Family Camping Tent - The Wenzel Great Basin 18 X 10-Feet Nine-Person Two-Room Family Dome Tent was amazing! We took it for our family on a week long camping trip in the mountains and it did everything we needed it to! We really enjoyed this tent! It was very easy to set up and take down, roomy, and well designed. The zippers worked good, which is most tents downfall. Also, has really nice ventilation. As usual the room divider is marginal, but that really didn't bother us much.

Spacious and weather-resistant, the Wenzel Great Basin 18 X 10-Feet Nine-Person Two-Room Family Dome Tent sleeps up to nine campers in its two rooms, making it ideal for large families or smaller families with lots of gear. The Great Basin is made of rugged, weather-repellent Weather Armor polyester with a polyurethane coating for reliability, helping it keep water out and warmth in. The sonic-sealed polyethylene tub-style floor, meanwhile, is welded and not sewn, eliminating needle holes that might otherwise attract water seepage. And campers will love the variety of ventilation points--including two mesh back-to-back D-style doors and two polyester mesh windows--all of which are aided by an updraft ventilation system that improves the overall airflow.

The Great Basin is also easy to set up, with a shock-corded fiberglass frame and a pin-and-ring system. And when it comes time to hit the sheets, you can either create one huge sleeping room or roll down the divider curtain to create two separate rooms. The rooms can function as individual bedrooms for the campers or as a sleeping room and living room. Other details include two gear lofts for storage, two hanging pockets, a removable fly with a hoop frame over the door, and a storage duffel.

Wenzel Great Basin 18 X 10-Feet Product Features

  • Shockcorded fiberglass poles with pin and ring system for easy set-up
  • Hooped fly over front door and rear window for weather protection
  • Hanging divider curtain creates two separate rooms
  • Two mesh doors, two mesh windows and two mesh roof vents for cross breeze
  • Includes stakes, gear loft, two hanging pockets and a storage duffel

Wenzel Great Basin 18 X 10-Feet Pros and Cons

Pros:
  • Huge! This thing dwarfs other tents and will surely make others jealous! We filled it with a queen size air mattress, a baby's pack-and-play, a camp chair, a ton of gear, and still only covered half the floor space and had plenty of room to walk around. You will easily forget you are sleeping in a tent. Do not underestimate the size of this thing, it is really, really big.
  • Easy to set up. Just four main poles and a very straightforward rain-fly.
  • Convenient. Not too heavy and folds back into its back without too much difficulty.
  • Inexpensive
  • Light-rain proof. Haven't tried it in a real storm but kept a light rain/dew off.
Cons:
  • Definitely requires staking on the sides. Not sure how it would hold up if you had really loose soil or sand.
  • Not a cold weather tent by any means.

Overall this tent was well worth the money. Just two of us had no problem setting it up in <15 minutes and didn't find any defects in stitching, quality, etc.

Best Family Camping Tents - I love Eureka tents. Our first tent was a Eureka and we were in love with that little thing. The Eureka Apollo 9 Dome Tent is very large. I was looking at the Eureka Tetragon tent and it had lots of reviews about the zipper. Set it up by myself in less than 10 minutes, It is a great warm weather tent with good cross ventilation. Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 6 Tent Review

Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 6 Tent
Best Family Camping Tents - The Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 6 Tent saved the vacation. The middle room served as our dining and rec center, providing ample space for our small camp table where we ate and played cards. The tent poles seem very durable, well painted and marked, and where the elastic-cord is exposed in the joints, it's actually a small link of chain, so no worries about eventually cutting through the cord with use. There's lots of windows in this tent, all screened with zippered privacy flaps that have built-in ties to manage them. The bottom of the tent is tarp-like and supposedly waterproof. The best feature is the hinge door. I can set this tent up by myself but it does take a bit of doing without an extra hand because the tent is not free standing. The hinged door design Coleman came up with is great, especially with little kids who constantly go in and out of the tent, leaving the zipper open and allowing the mosquitos and flies to invade. It was kind of a big hit at the campsite! I am very happy with my Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 6 Tent and look forward to many family camping trips with it.

Ideal for family car campers, scout leaders & extended camping excursions, the Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 6 Tent is designed for easy setup. The WeatherMaster Screened 6 sleeps 6 people comfortably in two rooms; it has a footprint of 17'x9' and a center height of 6'10". An additional floorless screened room provides extra ventilation on warm days, a great place for meals and gathering, rain or shine, and protected storage space. Coleman's Comfort System allows control of airflow with Variflo adjustable ventilation, including the vented Cool-Air Port, privacy vent window, and electrical access port. Continuous, color-coded pole sleeves, an exclusive pin-and-ring design, and InstaClip attachments make setup a breeze with the 19mm steel poles.

Here some great review about Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 6 Tent
Awesome Family Tent, By J. Sweeney
We went back and forth on spending the extra money on this tent but it was so worth it! For its size it is so easy to set up and is very roomy! We had a pack and play, three sleeping bags, our dog and all of clothes and there was still room to walk around all of that. The Screen area came in very handy - although we didnt sit in it much this first trip we were able to walk in and put our shoes in there on the tarp and then go into the tent. We also were able to store the kids bikes in there at night or when we left the site. Dont hesitate if you are considering this tent! It is great!

Great family tent,By C. Rowe
We have only been camping once in this tent so far, but it was perfect. We have three children and we all had plenty of room in the tent. It was easy to set up. We did not use the rain fly since it was a dry weekend and the screened roof was amazing for star gazing. Also, the hinged door was such a treat with little ones going in and out a lot.

Coleman Sundome 4-Person Tent, Green

Best Family Camping Tents - I bought this tent and opened it for the first time at the camp site, which shows a lot of trust in Coleman. This tent was easy to set up (in the dark) and was sufficient in keeping the bugs out. Still took less than 15 minutes to get the tent up. The Coleman Sundome 4-Person Tent was secure and kept my wife and I dry when our friends tents sprung leaks and suffered wet sleepingbag. The rain cover worked great and still provided plenty of ventilation. ADVICE the stakes they provide are ok but buy 4 big states for the corners of the tent. That this tent is absolutely awesome! Very sturdy set up, high quality material, and plenty of room. Purchased as a gift, it set up easily and has proven to be comfortable and leak free in frequent rains. Has met every expectation. Great product!

Roomy enough for a small family, the Coleman Sundome 4-Person tent sleeps up to four people at a time in comfort.the Coleman Sundome 4-Person tent is exclusive Weathertec system, a number of technical features is equipped to protect against the weather and nasty storms.
The tent's interior measures 63 square feet--enough for up to four people. WeatherTec tents are built with a coated polyester fabric combined with anti-wicking thread, webbing, and zippers, all designed to keep you dry when the rain comes down. The tent's welded waterproof floor and inverted floor seams, meanwhile, dramatically increase the water resistance by hiding the needle holes inside the tent and away from the elements. In fact, Coleman is so confident in its WeatherTec system that it exposes its WeatherTec tents to a rain room that simulates nasty downpours, and to a wind machine capable of blowing hurricane force gusts.
The results? Even after the tests, Coleman guarantees its WeatherTec tents will keep you dry.
